Our mission for children
At TDJ Kids Ministry, we are dedicated to nurturing young hearts and minds in the Gainesville, Georgia community. Our goal is to create a safe, joyful, and educational space where children can grow in their understanding of faith, develop strong friendships, and experience the love of God through engaging activities and lessons.

Our latest adventures
Vacation Bible School
Summer 2025: "Road Trip"
We embarked on an exciting journey with Road Trip VBS, based on Joshua 1:9 – "The LORD your God is with you wherever you go." Discover God's presence everywhere as we explore new places, make new friends, and experience God's goodness together.
Summer 2024: "Shine"
We went to the movies where kids discovered Jesus and learned to SHINE His light! Everyone was able to see the glory of Jesus throughout the Scriptures and compel him to trust and worship Christ. Through the lenses five different movies they learned about the redemption story of Jesus.

Next VBS: "Tropical Trek"
JESUS COMES TO SEEK AND SAVE
Join us for a Tropical Trek where we will learn how Jesus came to seek and save the lost (Luke 19:10)! As we traverse fun and exciting places, like a dormant volcano and island caves, we’ll discover how God finds us and helps us in every challenge we face.
Sunday school highlights
Every Sunday, our classrooms are buzzing with excitement as children dive into age-appropriate Bible lessons. Recently, our younger kids learned about Noah's Ark through interactive storytelling and animal crafts, while our older children explored the parables of Jesus, discussing their meanings and how to apply them to daily life. July 13-17, TROPICAL TREK VBS
We are excited and getting ready for our Island theme VBS. Its going to be a very tropical and fun VBS. We cant wait to see everyone of your precious children and learn about JESUS while having fun!
July 18: VBS closing celebration & Back to School Bash
This year we are combining our VBS closing celebration and Back to School Bash, We will be setting up on the church parking lot with water slides, outdoor games, water balloons etc while enjoying some food as well, A fun time for the entire family!
Volunteer opportunities
We are always looking for passionate volunteers to join our Kids Ministry team. If you have a heart for children and wish to contribute, please contact us for more information on how to get involved. It could be by teaching or being a helper, there are so many things to be involved with the kids. We cant do this without you!
